Itineraries
Nairobi – Arusha
After breakfast, 7:30 a.m., depart for Arusha with a shuttle bus, arriving at Namanga border town at around 10:30 am after immigration formalities. Proceed on to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon, dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara, lunch en route proceed to Lake Manyara for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend 2000 ft (670 m) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches, full day in the park with a lunch break at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km and contains populations of varied species, black-maned lions, Rhinos, buffalo, Elephants, and other Grazing animals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/campsite.
Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Gorge Museum, after lunch visit various sites of the gorge to see where the remains of prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. L.S.B. Leakey, proceed to Serengeti plains with afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at the campsite/ Lodge.
Full Day Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti (Masai for “endless plains”) is famous for its enormous concentration of game (especially the big cats) and for the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelles The abundance of plains game in this area is truly astounding We enter the park through the lesser travelled western corridor and game drive en-route to our campsite in the centre of the park tonight we’re surrounded by the silence of the African bushveld, pierced only by the calls of the nocturnal wildlife (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Serengeti National Park – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch, afternoon game drive in the park, the most beautiful park in Tanzania with regard to animal concentration and abundance. Tarangire is full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge / Campsite.
Tarangire National Park – Arusha
After breakfast and your final game drive in the park, depart for Arusha with lunch en route. Overnight at the budget hotel.(dinner on own)
Arusha – Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with a shuttle bus, arriving in the afternoon dropoff at the Airport or Hotel.
